The Convent development is located in the historical city center of Évora, one of the UNESCO World Heritage city since 1986.It is surrounded by medieval walls and has monuments from many different periods, like Diana Temple, an ancient Roman Temple.

 The existing building dating from 1531, will be completely refurbished and modernized. All the important historical and heritage characteristics will be kept making the perfect symbioses with the new wing that will be constructed.

The Convent, as a development, will be refurbished into a wonderful 4* superior Boutique Hotel. 

 

It will have 51 rooms with a contemporary and modern twist, making a clear and sophisticated contrast with the heritage of the convent.

 In terms of Golden Visa investment, the Convent is eligible for the reduced two hundred and eighty thousand euros Golden Visa. The minimum per law.

 

The developer will ensure the Hotel exploitation and all its operation through an experienced team to increase the value of the property and maximize future gains in the process of selling the Hotel from the fifth year of investment onwards
 

Guaranteed return of 3,5%, considering the 5 years of investment and paid in one go, at the end of the first year of investment, in the amount of €49.000. This means that if you close the deed in 2022 you will receive this return in 2023.


After the 5 years of minimum investment, the return on invested capital will be ensured through a careful sales process promoted by the developer, with 50% sharing of the capital gain obtained in the sale, with all investors.

 

All costs with insurance, licenses and other liabilities arising from the operation of the Hotel will be developers’ responsibility.

Note that the IMT tax value will also be returned to you once the refurbishment works are finished. The developer will be responsible to conduct all the necessary diligences along with the Portuguese government authorities to have that tax money back returned to the investors.
